The guide covers topics ranging from membership information, functions and responsibilities of the WRA, a copy of the bylaws, a mission statement, the Resort Municipality of Whistler Act, a message from the President Functions of the WRA, the Board of Directors Organizational Structure, voting rights, members of the WRA, information on who can become a member, member assessments, and a Use Declaration Form.

A 1999 VHS promotional resort video guide for the Resort Municipality of Whistler, titled "Whistler in Deep Resort Guide". The video depicts two locals guiding the viewer around Whistler Village, the mountains, activities, and dining throughout the valley. The video includes information on restaurants, ski lessons, indoor and outdoor activities, night life, retail stores, tours, and mountain terrain.
