Luca Cattaneo is an Italian former alpine skier who competed in the 1998 Winter Olympics. He was born in Breno, Italy on July 24, 1972. He took part in alpine skiing competitions until 2005, achieving two podium places in the World Cup and a sixth place in the Super-G at the 1997 World Cup. In the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, Cattaneo suffered an Achilles tendon rupture in his left leg, which rendered him unable to compete for the rest of the winter.
