Papers related to Franz Wilhelmsen being named Man of the Year presented by the Greater Vancouver Visitors and Convention Bureau for his successful development of Whistler Mountain, including:

  • Two newspaper articles about Franz Wilhelmsen being named Man of the Year
  • A Bayshore Inn Vancouver menu from the dinner in which Franz was named Man of the Year
  • Two photos taken after Franz Wilhelmsen was named Man of the Year (both photos used in the newspaper articles)

Franz' Run and Franz's Chair

Photographs of the dedication ceremony of “Franz’ Run” (a ski run on Whistler Mountain) in honour of Franz Wilhelmsen, December 10, 1983, as well as a Whistler Blackcomb brochure announcing, among other things, the installation of Franz's Chair, and a draft letter from Franz Wilhelmsen responding to the honour from April 2, 1998.
