Series consists of meeting minutes, newspaper and magazine clippings, correspondence, a report, and a feasibility study relating to the development of Whistler as a ski hill and a residential area in the 1960s. There is a particular focus on Whistler Alpine Villa Ltd., for which Hartland M. MacDougall (donor's father) worked. Also mentioned are the Whistler Skier's Chapel and Garibaldi Lifts Ltd. The items are arranged in the order they were received from the donor.

Garibaldi Ski School Update Letter

A letter from the Garibaldi Ski School director Alan White to Mrs. and Mr. Ladner. It gives an update halfway though the International Summer Ski Camp held in 1966. It describes the weather and the ski activities that occurred at the camp and thanks Mr. and Mrs. Ladner for their support of the camp and asks if they have any feedback for future years.

Garibaldi Ski School Information Letter

An information letter sent to Janet Ladner from Ornulf Johnsen of the Garibaldi Ski School regarding the Summer Ski Camp. The letter addresses commonly asked questions by parents including arrival information, pocket money, activities besides skiing and their prices, equipment necessary for both skiing and other activities. It also asks that parents who have not supplied the camp with health certificates do upon arrival.
