        Bruce Rockowitz is a Canadian businessman, the former president and CEO of Li & Fung (a global sourcing company), and co-founder of Pure Group, a yoga studio/brand in Hong Kong. He has been skiing in Whistler since [at least] the 1990s. In 2011, he married Coco Lee, a Hong Kong-based singer and songwriter who passed away at age 48 from suicide in 2023. Bruce had two daughters from a previous marriage. In the 2010s, he and long-time golf and tennis partner, Colin Grant, founded Pure Group, a Hong Kong-based yoga studio/brand. Bruce stumbled upon yoga after his wife, Coco, insisted he and Colin attend a yoga class instead of going golfing on a rainy day in Whistler. They were hooked instantly, and when they returned to Hong Kong, couldn't find any yoga instruction as good as in Whistler, so the entrepreneurs decided to open their own yoga studio in 2003. They opened a sprawling flagship fitness centre in the IFC in Hong Kong. Bruce has been a long-time donor to the Whistler Health Care Foundation and the Kelty Patrick Dennehy Foundation.
