Gallery of Photography Fenner exhibit card

Card from the Gallery of Photography in Vancouver about Clifford Fenner's Color Photography exhibit that ran from February 16 to March 7, 1973. Attached to card is a postcard of one of Fenner's fishing on Garibaldi Lake photographs.

Garibaldi Park

Photographs of Garibaldi Provincial Park, including but are not limited to ski touring, mountaineering, snowshoeing, photography, camping, scenery, a floatplane on a lake, a plaque in memory of William J. Gray (first ascended Black Tusk in 1912), and park signs.

Negatives are either coded with "BGR" or "BGZ" and a number from 1-72.
Negatives were originally in an Agfa roll film packages labelled "Garibaldi" and also indicated what codes were in the package.
These packages were found in a folder labelled "Garibaldi Park".

File contains 1 large print of 10 photographs of Garibaldi Park that include a cabin, skiing, photography, and laundry hung outside.

Each photograph has a label with the code "BGR" and a number from 12-141 or 59-66.
Labelled on back as "Garibaldi Park B.C." and has 2 stamps of Fenner's address at the time: "1010 Keith Road West Vancouver, B.C.". «

Glass Slides

Photographs of mountaineering and other mountain adventures in Garibaldi Provincial Park, the Cariboo Range, Coastal British Columbia, and the United States.

There is 1 slide that was removed from broken glass (0093) and another that is not a glass slide (0099).

These slides seem to be colour-coded through using tape to frame the slides:
Blue is the Garibaldi region.
Yellow or Red seem to be other areas in British Columbia, and possibly Washington, but for different years (red = 1949, yellow = 1950).
Green indicates areas in the United States, such as Arizona and Colorado.

There are some slides that have 2 different tape colours.

Original slides, transparencies, negatives, contact sheets, and prints of photographs taken by Greg Griffith, local photographer and owner of Mountain Moments Photography. The photographs are chiefly of skiing, snowboarding, mountain scenery, aerial shots, Whistler Village, skiing and snowboarding competitions (including the Molson World Cup Downhill), summer sports, freestyle skiing and snowboarding, heli-skiing, heli-boarding, and hotels and condominiums. The collection also includes photographs of well-known Whistler residents, historical moments in Whistler (such as the opening of Blackcomb Mountain, the construction of Whistler Village, squatter culture), and various events in Whistler.

Harvey Soicher Photo order form

Item is a photo order form from Harvey Soicher Photos of North Burnaby, B.C., addressed to Robbie Bannerman of Calgary, Alberta. Taped to it are two black-and-white photographs cut out of a contact print, showing a person skiing (possibly at the Toni Sailer Summer Ski Camp). The bottom of the form has been filled out, indicating that two 5x7 and one 8x10 photos were ordered.
