History
Mike Neckar was originally from Czechoslovakia. He came to Canada in the mid-1960s to whitewater kayak. He built kayaks in a garage in Garibaldi Station in the early 1970s, then went on to establish Necky Kayaks in Abbotsford in the early 1980s. He is currently living in the Lower Mainland and owns a kayak building company, Delsys Design.
