History
George McKay is a ski resort and venue planner based in British Columbia. In the 1980s, he worked for the Government of British Columbia as a ski development coordinator for the Ministry of Economic Development, which was involved in the planning for Shames Mountain ski area. He was later the director of the Callaghan Valley Master Plan process during the lead-up to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games in the early 2000s. George was the vice president of Garibaldi at Squamish resort during the 2010s, which is a ski resort which was being planned for the Squamish area.
