History
Kelly Maxwell is an Australian now living in British Columbia. Originally from Australia, she moved to Whistler and worked at the Highland Lodge in the late 1960s. She married Canadian Whistler resident Bob "Max" Maxwell and moved with him to Australia in 1970, where they had two sons and a daughter (Fiona). The couple moved back to Whistler with their children in 1977. In the 1980s, Max and Kelly belonged to the Alta Lake Community Club (ALCC). Max won approximately $1 million in a lottery in the late 1970s and proceeded to purchase a farm in Pemberton. Kelly passed away in the 1990s.
