Thomas Masson and his wife, Ada Masson, owned a property on Alta Lake Road on Alta Lake in Whistler in the 1950s which later was purchased by the Witsend girls (Jacquie Pope, Florence Petersen (nee Strachan), June Collins (nee Tidball), Eunice "Kelly" Fairhurst (nee Forster), and Betty Gray (nee Atkinson)) and became the Witsend cottage.
