Jesse Martyn is a financial planner and advisor and a former stage actor from Vancouver. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama from the University of Alberta, which he completed between 2003 and 2006. His acting credits include SNOW – Whistler: The Musical, Anne and Gilbert, The Stepmother, After the Dance, St. Joan, A Month in the Country, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Gifts of the Magi, Singin’ in the Rain, Of Mice and Men, Jeeves in Bloom, Les Miserables, Red Rock Diner, Young Dracula, and In Flanders Fields. He completed these roles between 2005 and 2016. In 2015, he became certified as a financial planner, and from 2012 to 2016, he worked as a financial advisor for EthicalPlan in Vancouver. From 2016 to 2021, he worked as a financial planner for Evolution Strategies in Vancouver, and since 2021, he has been a wealth and estate planning specialist for Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. in Vancouver.

Since April 2018 he has worked as a Financial Planner for Evolution Strategies Ltd. in Vancouver.
