Historique
Jim "TJ" MacDonald was a resident of Britannia Beach and Squamish between the 1950s and 2000s. He was born in Meota, SK. He married his wife, Miriam, in 1947 and the couple moved to Britannia Beach in 1954, where they started a family; they had three sons named Bruce, Gordon, and Ian as well as a daughter, Penny (who passed away in 1967). TJ was active with the Howe Sound School District, serving on its board in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. In 1986, they moved to Garibaldi Highlands in Squamish. TJ and Miriam built a cottage on a lake near his hometown of Meota, SK, where they enjoyed spending their summers. In the late 1990s, TJ became increasingly affected by Parkinson's and eventually moved to Hilltop House in Squamish. He passed away in the [2000s?].
