Antonin Lieutaghi is a French freeride snowboarder and owner of Evolution2 La Clusaz, an outdoor mountain sports guiding company ski school based in La Clusaz, France. Antonin grew up in Forcalquier, France in the south. As a kid, he enjoyed cycling, caving, kayaking, and skateboarding. At age 15, he studied at the Fratellini / Etaix circus school in Paris. He discovered skiing at the age of 16, decided to become a ski instructor, and, during his training, discovered off-piste snowboarding at age 20. He produced/ starred in a snowboarding short film called 'Hard Attack' in 1994. From 1996 to 2003, he took part in the world snowboard freeride circuit, winning one European title in 2000 and two “King of the Hill” World Championships in 1996 and 1998. In 1999, he offered heli-ski holidays with Sylvain Saudan. After that, he continued to organize trips to Argentina and Chile along with freeride coaching, meanwhile designing competitions as race director: the Adrenaline Challenge, the Radikal Mountain, and the La Clusaz free session. In 2000 and 2001, Antonin won the Jury Prize at the international Adventure Film Festival in Val d’Isère, France and the Mountain Challenge snowboard title for the film “La Nuit de la Glisse”. He has also made a series of coaching videos on snowboard techniques for the Japanese market. From 1997 to 2004, he participated annually in the X-TREME de Verbier, both as a competitor and as a judge. From 2004 to 2012, he was the director of Dimension Freeride. Antonin is now a ski, snowboard, and mountain biking instructor with his company Evolution2 since 2012, as well as a Freeride World Tour national advisor (since 2013). He has also plotted the mountain bike trails in La Clusaz. He enjoys snowboarding and mountain biking in his spare time, and is based in Bellevaux, France
