David Langevin is a Canadian landscape artist. He was born in 1959 in Sherbrooke, QC and was raised in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. David began drawing and painting before starting school. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Ottawa, he continued his studies and research at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Canadian Conservation Institute of Ottawa, and McGill University in Montreal, where he obtained a Master’s degree in art education. After spending several years teaching art, David continues to lecture and give workshops. He moved to BC in 1992, and currently lives and paints in Kamloops, BC. His paintings are sold in galleries across Canada, including the Adele Campbell Fine Art Gallery in Whistler; White Rock Gallery in White Rock, BC; Gallery 421 in Kelowna, BC; Stephen Lowe Art Gallery in Calgary, AB; Koyman Galleries in Ottawa, ON; and Au P'tit Bonheur in Malbaie, QC. David enjoys hiking and painting in his free time.
