Roger Kayo is a planned giving officer at the Salvation Army in Vancouver. He completed a Bachelor degree in politics and economics at Queen's University from 1988 to 1992 and a diploma in fundraising from BCIT from 2002 to 2003. From 2004 to 2007, he the director of development for the Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Centre of British Columbia. From 2007 to 2008, he was a development officer for UBC Law School. From 2008 to 2009 he was the director of development of the Coalition of Progressive Electors (COPE). From 2009 to 2013, he was the development manager for Ballet BC. He became a certified fundraising executive with CFRE International in 2011. From 2013 to 2015, he was the executive director of Kids Up Front Vancouver. From 2015 to 2017, he was a major gifts officer for St. George's School in Vancouver. From 2017 to 2018, he was a major and planned giving officer for Langara College. Since 2018, he has been a planned giving officer for the Salvation Army in Vancouver.
