Michael Kaile is a former General Manager of Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and an alderman of Bowen Island Municipality. He was general manager of Fairmont Hotels and Resorts from 1991 to 2010, overseeing the opening of the Waterfront Vancouver location, the Hamilton Princess Bermuda location, the Fairmont Dubai, the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort, and the Fairmont Abu Dhabi. From 2010 to 2014, he was CEO of Terminal City Club and The Hotel at Terminal City Club. Since 2014, he has been a councillor for Bowen Island Municipality. Since 2023, he has also been working as a consultant in the hotel sector.
