Contains poetry and art related to the Paralympic Games, the national anthem in English, French and Braille, a paragraph about the influence of the West Coast's First Nations on the Games, the order of the Parade of Athletes, a brief history of the Paralympic movement, the Official's and Athlete's Oaths, quotes by Rick Hansen and Terry Fox, information about the lighting of the Cauldron, messages from Michaelle Jean, Stephen Harper, Gordon Campbell, Tewanee Joseph, Sir Philip Craven, John Furlong, Gregor Robertson, Ken Melamed and Patrick Roberge. The production team and performers are listed at the back of the guide.

Erasing the Stigma

A newspaper article published in The Question on May 26, 2006 on pages 1 and 4. The article is about a talk held by depression researcher Dr. Allan Young at Millenium Place in Whistler on May 23, 2006. The talk was put on by the Kelty Patrick Dennehy Foundation with the goal of spreading awareness and education about depression. Found in scrapbook. 1 duplicate of second half of article.

Tapley's Baseball Team

Photographs of the Tapley's Fastball team. One photograph is from July 19 in the early 1980s. The other photograph is from July 1, 1989. The photos were most likely taken at Spruce Grove Park in Whistler, BC. The photo from the early 1980s seems to be an informal baseball league, whereas the photo from 1989 is most likely taken at an event hosted by the Whistler Slo-Pitch Association (WSPA).
The photographs were both accompanied by backings which name all the subjects in the photographs.
