A collection of textual records, mostly related to Blackcomb mountain, but also includes documents that relate to Whistler in general. These documents include; employee manuals, employee handbooks, ski competition programs, newspapers, letters, and election related documents.
Items donated by John and Joyce Hetherington, including a poster of an artist's conception of Whistler Village presented to John Hetherington (RMOW Councillor at the time) on the occasion of the Founders Club Dinner on May 15, 1981, and an account ballot for the 1976 municipal election where Pat Carleton was voted into office as mayor.
Material donated by Sonya McCarthy gathered from her time as Alderman on the Municipal Council (RMOW), working for the Whistler Area Information Office, doing community work, and from Whistler Mountain. Documents include personal files, correspondence, pamphlets, posters, maps, and other promotional material regarding events, planning, accommodation, and services in the Whistler area from 1980 to 1996.
