Materials relating to the preparation for and participation in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Whistler collected by Jan Jansen during his time in the role of Manager of Resort Experience at the Resort Municipality of Whistler.

Invitation from Lorne Borgal, President and CEO of Whistler Mountain Ski Corporation, to Sonya McCarthy, Alderman for the Resort Municipality of Whistler, for the site tour and inspection of the Whistler Express Gondola in 1988. The tour was held in the valley, finishing with a luncheon at the top of Whistler Mountain.

Several men are seen working on a construction site. A previous finding aid notes that this is the Express Gondola G4 Station, built in the summer of 1987.
