A map of Lost Lake Park drawn by Trevor Roote that shows the trails and pathways in the area, as well as picnic areas. The back of the map shows the Whistler area, including Garibaldi Park, with topographical lines. Item is a duplicate to another map found in the Petersen collection.

Map of Alta Lake

Photocopy of a map originally created by Alta Lake Development Ltd. in 1960. The map shows a north-oriented outline of Alta Lake, with the locations of Rainbow Lodge, Alta Lake Station, Hillcrest Lodge and the Pacific Great Eastern railway tracks indicated. Alta Vista neighbourhood has been enlarged and shown in greater detail.

Whistler Village Report, Issue Number Two, December 1978 + duplicate

The Whistler Village Report published by Whistler Village from December 1978. Articles are entitled: "Where We've Been ... and Where We're Going," "Joint Government Agreement Gives Whistler $9 Million," "Blackcomb Mountain Development Begins," "Snow Unseasonably Slow at Whistler," "Developments Proceed With Set Schedule," and "New Council Sworn In."

The articles are about the subjects of the history of Whistler as a resort town and the building of Whistler Village, the Whistler Village log, a 9 million dollar grant from the federal and provincial governments for resort development and town planning, the development of Blackcomb Mountain, the unseasonably slow snow, the seasonal schedule for development in Whistler and the new council for the Resort Municipality of Whistler being sworn in.

Ski Whistler Pamphlet

A Ski Whistler pamphlet from 1970. The front panel has the Ski Whistler logo and a photograph of skiers riding a chairlift. The back panels contain a Whistler accommodation guide, a listing of dining facilities, a map of how to get to Whistler and instructions for access via road, rail, ship, air, bus and car rental services. An inside spread is a map of Whistler Mountain's ski runs which indicates the difficulty of each run. In the middle of the pamphlet is a large Ski Whistler spread that gives an overview of Whistler Mountain's ski facilities and village amenities, and 12 photos of skiers and locations on the mountain.

A plan of the Whistler Cay district neighbourhood from 1969. The plan shows the subdivision of lots, although roads, with the exception of the Garibaldi Highway, are unnamed. A legend appears in the bottom left-hand corner and the plans are signed by the owners of the land, the Approving Officer Department of Highways, the City of Vancouver Land Surveyor, the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority, and the Land Registry Office. The scale is 1 inch = 100 feet.
