Debbie was an entrant in last Thursday's Gong Show at Dusty's and nearly made it to the end of her musical routine before unsympathetic judges struck the gong. The winner was Boy Dave, who played his part wearing just regular clothes.

It is one of the victims of the Garibaldi relocation project implemented by the province because of the threat of the barrier.

While most people brought along only skis and sunglasses, Pascal Tiphine thought to import a little champagne, which he literally splashed into anyone who didn't mind a few bubbles up their nose.
