Olympic Games Planner

A daily calendar and planner entitled "A Local's Guide to the 2010 Olympic Games". It includes tips for planning around the Olympic Games, as well as information on how access the events and torch relays, with a focus on February and March of 2010. It also includes maps and information on what's happening in and around Whistler is 2010, a short history of the Olympic journey, and interesting facts. The planner is divided into Live, Work and Play sections to provide locals with helpful information.

Tourism

Three promotional stickers for Whistler Mountain and Whistler Blackcomb, including two Whistler Mountain "Big Old Softie" stickers and one "Ski Whistler Blackcomb B.C. - Canada" sticker.

A promotional book for Whistler's restaurants created by the Restaurant Association of Whistler in 2009. The book includes menu highlights, featured recipes and alcoholic beverages, featured chefs, reviews, awards, restaurant origin stories, an events calendar, and a map.

Four travel planners created by the Whistler Resort Association to promote both Winter and Summer seasons between 1997 and 2000. Three of the planners are from the 1997-2000 Winter seasons, and one is from 1999 promoting the Summer season.

A paper spiral bound guide for Whistler Resort Association (WRA) members from November 15th, 1996. The guide covers topics ranging from membership information, functions and responsibilities of the WRA, a copy of the bylaws, a mission statement, the Resort Municipality of Whistler Act, a message from the President Functions of the WRA, the Board of Directors Organizational Structure, voting rights, members of the WRA, information on who can become a member, member assessments, and a Use Declaration Form.

A 1999 VHS promotional resort video guide for the Resort Municipality of Whistler, titled "Whistler in Deep Resort Guide". The video depicts two locals guiding the viewer around Whistler Village, the mountains, activities, and dining throughout the valley. The video includes information on restaurants, ski lessons, indoor and outdoor activities, night life, retail stores, tours, and mountain terrain.

Fond consists of material donated by Gordon McKeever and includes promotional stickers for Whistler Mountain and Whistler Blackcomb, a promotional book for Whistler's restaurants, four travel planners created by the Whistler Resort Association to promote both Winter and Summer seasons between 1997 and 2000, a paper spiral bound guide for Whistler Resort Association (WRA) members from November 15th, 1996, a 1999 VHS promotional resort video guide for the Resort Municipality of Whistler, a variety of materials supporting the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, four paper business directory booklets printed for the Whistler Chamber of Commerce dating from 1994, 1996, and 1999, and sixteen posters depicting a variety of subject matter including Whistler festivals, ski racing events, concert series, car shows, heli-skiing, Molson and Shell Cups, and Whistler Resort tourism.
