Item is a copy of "Ascend," the first CD released by the Whistler Singers. It contains 19 tracks sung by the 45-person choir, consisting of sopranos, altos, and baritones/basses. The musical director was Glen Irvine and the assistant director was Jeff Maskell. Ali Milner was a guest soloist, Colleen Koop was the pianist, Don Harder was the recording engineer, Glen Irvine designed the insert, and Leanna Rathkelly was in charge of photography. The recording was done in April 2003 at Millennium Place, and is dedicated to Beth Pipe.

A track listing for the CD is given on the back of the case. The insert also contains a track listing, as well as a photograph of the choir, a list of choir members and others involved with the production, a poem, and a foreword by Glen Irvine.
