A Long Term Recreational Master Plan Preliminary version produced by the Resort Municipality of Whistler. The map shows Whistler Valley with the various subdivisions and marks where different types of recreational activity such as hiking, skiing and cycling can take place.

Double-sided map of Adventures West Village Site Master Plan [from 1971?]. Recto shows a highlighted Stage 1 [which was eventually built] of development for holiday condominiums amongst several other Stages of development and recreation areas which never came to fruition, including a ski hill with rope tow, archery area, obstacle course, toboggan run, sports fields, putting greens, croquet area, tennis courts, volleyball courts, badminton courts, and skating ponds. Verso shows a map of Stage 1 development Strata plan with lot divisions.

Photocopy of a map originally created by Alta Lake Development Ltd. in 1960. The map shows a north-oriented outline of Alta Lake, with the locations of Rainbow Lodge, Alta Lake Station, Hillcrest Lodge and the Pacific Great Eastern railway tracks indicated. Alta Vista neighbourhood has been enlarged and shown in greater detail.

A half page article from The Province newspaper published Sunday November 8, 1981 on page A4. The article is entitled "Peak in Sight for Whistler." The article is about whether or not Whistler has been oversold as a world class resort, unfinished resort developments, the dangers of Highway 99 and low real estate activity.

Commercial Accommodation Market Survey & Analysis put together by Ernst & Whinney for the Whistler Village Land Company Limited in March 1982. The report's purpose is stated to review skier visit forecasts, review the proposed commercial construction buildout, analyze winter and summer visitor potentials, and evaluate the resulting guest and occupancy figures in Whistler.
