Whistler Watch pamphlet entitled "Whistler Welcomes the World But ... at what cost?" produced during the lead-up to the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. It details the environmental, social, and democratic costs of the Games, including habitat loss due to construction, pollution caused by transportation, increased energy and water usage, generation of waste, shortage of housing, financial costs, erosion of the civil liberties of those opposing the Games, violence against women, the heightened nationalism of sport, and the use of unceded First Nations territory. It also includes a list of proposed changes for future Olympic games and ways that people can take action.

Garibaldi Ski School Information Letter

An information letter to skiers potentially attending the Garibaldi Ski School, sent April, 1967. It explains there will be two sections of the Whistler Mountain Summer Ski Camp: the Racing Section with Toni Sailer and the Ski Technique section with Art Furrer. It also gives arrival instructions, including recommended flights into the Vancouver airport for attendees. The letter is signed by the director Roy A. Ferris. A handwritten note in the top right-hand corner reads "Dep. $50.00 x 2 for S and J for June 18-27/67."

Pletsch & Dokka Ski and Sports Shop Ltd. Receipt

A receipt from Pletsch & Dokka Ski and Sport Shop Ltd. made out to Mr. Tom E. Ladner for purchases and credits in 1963 and 1964. Purchases include ski boots, gloves, slacks, skis, harnesses, t-shirts and a boot tree. Unidentified handwriting on the bottom.

du Maurier International Ladies Giant Slalom Official Results

The official results for the du Maurier International Ladies Giant Slalom held at Whistler Mountain on January 28 and 29, 1967. The Canadian Amateur Ski Association logo is also at the top of the page. The first page features a watermark image of a ski racer. The jury's names and countries are listed on the first page. The racers' place, start number, name, country, time, and FIS points are listed on both the first and second pages. The second page lists the disqualifications, did not starts and did not finishes, and is signed by the referee.

Inside the Olympics Industry - Whistler Watch Poster
