International Summer Ski Camp Pamphlet

A pamphlet from the International Summer Ski Camp. The front panel shows a drawing of a man with a broken leg and a crutch saying "So then I said who needs the International Summer Ski Camp at Garibaldi's Whistler Mountain B.C. Canada with guest coaches Toni Sailer & Art Furrer for junior skiers of intermediate-advanced racing ability under the direction of Roy Ferris & Alan White and all that jazz". The inside panels feature images of the T-bar used for the camp, Toni Sailer, Art Furrer and four non-skiing activities available at the camp (water skiing, sailing, horseback riding, and barbeques). It also contains short biographies of Roy Ferris, Heidi Obrecht, Alan White, Jo Csizmazia, Toni Sailer and Art Furrer. The other panels have information about the camp itself, such as the qualifications for attending, the schedule, the equipment needed, transportation and insurance.

Garibaldi Ski School Payment Reminder Letter

A letter from Roy Ferris of the Garibaldi Ski School to Janet Ladner on July 14, 1967. He reminds Janet that she neglected to enclose the $300.00 cheque for the registration fees for Jinny and Steve to ski camp. He notes the success of the ski camp and expresses hope that Jinny and Steve will return again next year. He also asks if he could talk to Janet and Tom Ladner about their impressions of the camp and gather their feedback. He mentions that Jane sends her regards and that they look forward to seeing each other soon. The signature is handwritten and a note saying "Sent July 17/67" is also handwritten in the bottom right corner.

Garibaldi Ski School Information Letter

An information letter to skiers potentially attending the Garibaldi Ski School, sent April, 1967. It explains there will be two sections of the Whistler Mountain Summer Ski Camp: the Racing Section with Toni Sailer and the Ski Technique section with Art Furrer. It also gives arrival instructions, including recommended flights into the Vancouver airport for attendees. The letter is signed by the director Roy A. Ferris. A handwritten note in the top right-hand corner reads "Dep. $50.00 x 2 for S and J for June 18-27/67."

A receipt from the Garibaldi Ski School for the registration of Janet Christine Ladner for $50.00. The receipt indicates she registered for the first session of the Whistler Mountain Summer Ski Camp starting June 18. It also contains a notice about flying to Vancouver by air and is signed by R.A. Ferris, the director of the school.

Whistler Mountain Summer Ski Camp Receipt

A receipt from the Whistler Mountain Summer Ski Camp for the registration of Janet and Wendy Ladner, for $100.00. They were registered for the June 16-26 session of the camp and the receipt is signed by Roy Ferris, the director. The back side of the receipt is the address of Mr. and Mrs. T. Ladner in Vancouver and the postage stamps used to mail it.

TSSSC Coaches' Party 1970

File contains photographs of Toni Sailer Summer Ski Camp coaches at a party in 1970, as well as one photo of Wayne Booth and two other people outside on the grass in 1970 or 1971.

Includes information on staff, prices, age limit, dates, accommodations, activities, transportation, equipment, insurance, discipline, and camp schedule. An application form is attached to the brochure.
