Photographs of glacier surveys between 1965 and 2020 (Overlord Glacier, Horstman Glacier, and Wedge Glacier) and Whistler events from the 1980s and 1990s.

This fonds consists of textual material created by AWARE (Association of Whistler Area Residents for the Environment), including an informational sheet about the 2001 AWARE Wetlands Campaign, Issue #22 of the newsletter The Aware Conserver, January 2002, and a booklet about AWARE's campaign to save the Upper Elaho-Sims Creek wilderness area [c. 2000].

Fonds consists of maps, textual records, and photographs relating to the geography, geology, and natural history of the Coast Mountain range, with particular focus on the Garibaldi Park area. Much of the material relates to Dr. Neal M. Carter (1902-1978), a mountaineer, surveyor, and cartographer and active in the Coast Mountains from the 1920s-1950s. Photographs document glacier recession in the Whistler area.

• Series 01 consists of a manuscript, "Garibaldi Provincial Park and Region," written for the Provincial Parks Branch on the geology, ecology and ecosystems contained within park boundaries in southwestern British Columbia.
• Series 02 consists of photocopied pages from two volumes of the University of British Columbia's Varsity Outdoor Club Journal, including a letter and article written by Neal Carter.
• Series 03 consists of 5 photocopied maps created by/with the help of Neal Carter.
