Postcard labelled "High Street, Kinross" sent from Thomas Neiland, Jr. to his parents, Thomas and Lizzie Neiland, during his time with the Royal Canadian Air Force in Scotland. On the front of the card is a black and white photograph of the High Street in Kinross, with a building marked 'Post Office' and a tall clock tower in the foreground. There is also a purple oval stamp, partially faded, marked "R.C.A.F." and dated February 26, 1944. On the back of the card is a handwritten message from "Tommy" to his parents at 34 1/2 Mile. The card has no stamp. It is postmarked February 26, 1944, Field Post Office.

Postcard labelled "Summerland Rd." sent from Jack Jardine to his mother, Lizzie Neiland. On the front of the card is a black and white photograph of Summerland Road, with an automobile driving along it. There are high cliffs on one side of the road and a flat expanse (possibly a lake or a field) on the other.
On the back of the card is a handwritten message from "Jack" to his mother at Mile 34 1/2. He mentions his siblings Bob and Jenny. There is a purple three-cent Canadian stamp in the top right corner. The card is postmarked August 15 1944 in Penticton, British Columbia.

Street photograph postcard of Lizzie Neiland and an unknown female companion taken by "Movie Snaps, 541 Granville St." The verso of the card has a letter from Lizzie to her grand daughter Louise Betts dated September 3rd, 1946. Much of the letter has been obscured by black paper glued on the back after being glued into a photo album. The recto of the card reads "Aug. 1946".
