Close-up of Gondola Mechanism

This photograph shows a close-up of the mechanism that attached the original Creekside Gondola to the cable it runs on.

McTaggart, Dorse

Creekside Ticket Line

A large group of skiers are seen lining up at the ticket windows in Creekside to purchase lift tickets.

Graham Underhill

Draw entry answer by Graham Underhill for the Whistler Museum event "Whistler's Mountain Identity [...]". In response to the question "What would you like to say about the past, present, and future of Whistler's Mountain Identity?" Graham responded:

"Wish some and many things had stayed as they were. Progress has not necessarily been better in some areas. Traffic is out of control. Too much push for more visitors and profits. Parking at Creekside should be pay if anywhere is pay."

Loading into the Gondola

This photograph shows a line of skiers waiting to load into the gondola, with two men in the foreground placing their skis into the holders on the exterior of one of the gondolas.

An annotation on the reverse of the print reads, "Late 60's. Gondola base Whistler Mtn."

Eagland, Dennis "Deni"
