Fonds contain the records of Don MacLaurin. MacLaurin was involved in the forestry industry of British Columbia, taught at BCIT, and was heavily involved with the Resort Municipality of Whistler. He was in several forestry associations, including the Canadian Institute of Forestry, British Columbia Foresters, and the Forest Nursery Association of British Columbia. MacLaurin created the Whistler Interpretive Forest. MacLaurin also completed assessments for private developers. Included in the fonds are his personal records.

Most of the records were created in the Whistler region.

Series includes a folder printed specifically for the conference, with a "Sea to Sky Enterprise Centre" business card; a list of conference speakers; copies of speeches given during the conference; speaking notes for John Reynolds, Minister of Environment; a presentation by Dick Bryan, given during the conference; employment and population chars for the Sea-to-Sky region; greeting letter from Phil Turner, Mayor of Squamish in 1990.

File includes a document titled "A Recommendation to the Government of Canada by the Pemberton and District Board of Trade for the Establishment of a National Park in the Pemberton Area", dated June 1959. The document was presented to the Provincial Government of British Columbia, rather than the Federal government, according to a note written at the top of the title page.

File includes Recreational Site Reports for Rainbow Falls, Brandywine Falls, and Green River - Nairn Falls. The Recreational Site Reports include maps of the areas in question.

File includes a document titled "A Tremendous Opportunity - The Sea to Sky Mountain Bike Trail System A Proposal", subtitled "Report to the Howe Sound Community Futures Trail Committee & The Sea to SKy Economic Development Commission".
