A chronological history of aviation in the Whistler Valley and the surrounding areas, compiled by Brent Wallace

Whistler-themed colouring book created by the Whistler Museum and Archives using traced photographs from the archives featuring prominent Whistler figures and scenes. The book was sold at the Whistler Museum's gift shop and other locations in Whistler Village.

Newspaper clipping from the Vancouver Sun including a timeline of "Whistler Mountain through the years." Significant events from the opening of Rainbow Lodge in 1914 to the naming of Whistler as top ski resort in North America in 2015 are listed. The clipping also contains the continuation of an article from page A17 about the history of Whistler. There are two photographs: skiers disembarking a gondola in 1991 and construction work on Whistler Town Centre in 1980.

A draft of the section covering the Pacific Great Eastern Railway with numerous handwritten notes, which focuses on how the train brought passengers to Alta Lake and how Rainbow Lodge provided a rest stop along the journey further north. Also includes a passenger receipt from a train that ran from North Vancouver to Rainbow Lodge for the cost of $3.30.

Notes relating to 5714 Alta Lake Road, lots 10 and 11. Includes notes from a chat with Roger Stacey, correspondence with Florence and Andy Petersen, correspondence with Roger Stacey, and handwritten note from Ray Dove, and a memoir from Ray Dove about Woodbine Cottage.

Four sheets of handwritten narrative about 5730 Alta Lake Road, also known as Whispering Leaves. The narrative talks about the successive owners of the property and how the owners came and went form the Whistler area.

Typed notes and anecdotes from J'Anne Greenwood, the owner of 5690 Alta Lake Road, Lots 17 and 18. The same stories are laid out several different times in slightly different formats, and cover stories about train travel and how the family came to buy a lot of Alta Lake Road and a general family history.

An information sheet about mail delivery in Alta Lake, including the Pacific Great Eastern railway and the post office located at Rainbow Lodge.

Letter from Jenny Jardine to Echo-Marie Fawks (nee Betts) and her husband, Don, written on April 7, 1995. In the letter, Jenny recounts her and her family's life living in the Whistler Valley between the 1900s and the 1940s - at Rainbow Lodge, Mons, Alpha Lake, and finally at 34 1/2 Mile [Function Junction area]. Stories she recounts include their relationship with the Philips and Harry Horstman, hikes on Sproatt Mountain and to Cheakamus Lake, mail delivery, schooling, scavenging berries along the Pacific Great Eastern Railway, and Howard Gebhart and her brothers' serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. She finishes the letter talking about her recent trip to Northern BC, the Yukon, and Alaska. The letter was enclosed in an envelope with notes written by Louise Smith regarding the letter's custodial history. The letter was given to Louise by Echo-Marie (Louise's cousin), who lived with her husband, Don, in Whistler from c. 1990 to c. 2012.
