Boat on lake, boat house, PGE." Although the inscription reads "boat" the item on the water is almost certainly a float plane.

Photograph of the DeBeck house taken from across Green Lake.
The inscription on the recto reads "Denis DeBeck house Parkhurst" and the inscription on the verso reads "Dorothy and Denis 1st house, picture taken from across Green Lake, Gree [sic] Lake Parkhurst, 1938, across Green Lake."
It is believed that Denis and Dorothy's house is the building on the right as Denis's sister, Betsy Henderson, remembers it being right next to the creek that runs into Green Lake.
