All children, including kindergarten students took part in the fair which was designed to give students a chance to use research skills, art talent and writing and speaking abilities together on one area of science in which they show interest. First place winners for each gard include:Grade Seven, "Lasers" by Lisa Morten and Karen Wylie; Grade Six, "Colors and Heat Absorption" by Michelle Rennie and Andrea Wuolle; Grade Five, "Weather Reporting" by Stephanie Fosty,; Grade Four, "Guinea Pigs" by Jennifer Croghan and Melanie Busdo; Grade Three, "Eclipses" by Madeline Domries; Grade Two: "Volcanoes" by Briton Liakakos; Grade One, "Monkeys" by Justine Adams, Davey Blaylock [Barr], Marco Feller, Casey Greenwood, Aaron Gross, Cory Gudmundson, Yosuke Hamazaki, Jake Humphrey, Mark Jennings and Heather Paul and "Pulleys" by Christopher Systad; Kindergarten, "The Seashore" by James Balfour, Armen Evrensel, Sarah Fennell, Noah Fordham, Christopher Forrest, Moriah Johnston and Tyler Manson.

Dear Voter - Garry Watson

A letter to the voters of the resort municipality of Whistler, from Garry Watson. In this letter Watson expresses his intent to run for Alderman, and outlines his goals and plans he will work towards, if elected. He states that he wants to work to developing a town centre with amenities for residents and visitors. He wants Whistler to grow into a larger year round resort municipality.

Whistler/Garibaldi From Space

A pamphlet depicting a view of the Whistler and Garibaldi region from space. It highlights many geographical key points in the region, and it has a writeup on the region and how the photographs were abled to be captured, by the Landsat 5 a U.S. satellite and records info from both visible and non-visible parts of the spectrum.

First Landing on Alta Lake Prints

Prints made from negatives taken by Myrtle Philip of the 1922 first landing on Alta Lake. The aircraft that landed was a Curtiss HS2L flying boat, flown by Earl Leslie "E.L." MacLeod and landed on Alta Lake on September 1, 1922.

Alta Lake Plane Crash Prints

Prints made from negatives taken by Myrtle Philip of the 1935 Alta Lake plane crash in which a Boeing C-204 Thunderbird operated by Pioneer Airways crashed on the South West side of Alta Lake on July 30, 1935. The Pilot was William R. McCluskey, and the passengers were Mildred and Reginald Walter Brock, and David Sloan.

Brent Wallace Notes

A collection of notes, photos, and book excerpts related to the first aircraft to land on Alta Lake in 1922, as well as the Brock family fatal aircraft accident beside Alta Lake in 1935. Also included is the Rainbow Lodge guest register from 1922.
