Photographs of Vancouver to Calgary by rail, ski mountaineering with Mt. Norquay Ski Camp, Camp Garibaldi (at Garibaldi Lake), Alpine Club of Canada camp, camping, female mountaineers, hiking, mountaineering, summit cairn of Castle Towers, Black Tusk, Emmie Brooks, Eric Brooks, snowshoeing, the Rocky Mountains, Selkirks, a glacier, Garibaldi Park, Guard Mountain, The Table, Peru, California, and Yellowstone Park.
Fonds consists of maps, textual records, and photographs relating to the geography, geology, and natural history of the Coast Mountain range, with particular focus on the Garibaldi Park area. Much of the material relates to Dr. Neal M. Carter (1902-1978), a mountaineer, surveyor, and cartographer and active in the Coast Mountains from the 1920s-1950s. Photographs document glacier recession in the Whistler area.
Photographs and accompanying notes, correspondence, tests, and invoices taken by Clifford Fenner during his career as Park Supervisor for Garibaldi Provincial Park. Clifford was an avid outdoors explorer, a mountaineer, and a distinguished professional photographer. He was appointed Park Supervisor for Garibaldi Park early in 1953.

Series consists of meeting minutes, newspaper and magazine clippings, correspondence, a report, and a feasibility study relating to the development of Whistler as a ski hill and a residential area in the 1960s. There is a particular focus on Whistler Alpine Villa Ltd., for which Hartland M. MacDougall (donor's father) worked. Also mentioned are the Whistler Skier's Chapel and Garibaldi Lifts Ltd. The items are arranged in the order they were received from the donor.
