Harmony Top Hut Handover Book

Harmony Hut's daily logbook for the 2015/2016 winter season. The entries are often humorous and/or graphic, sometimes including drawings. At the bottom of each entry, the daily sales are stated along with the dollar amount over or short for the day. The entries are written by the Harmony Hut staff.

Note: some of the entries contain racist, homophobic, sexist, and otherwise offensive remarks. The Whistler Museum and Archives does not endorse these sentiments.

The first article is entitled "Whistler Awaits Cheaper Money: 'Short-term' trouble slows town centre development." The article contains information about developments in the Village that are stalled due to high interest rates and economic problems. The second article is called "Couple 'close to nature' without costly mortgage" which is about squatting in the Whistler area to avoid the high cost of housing. The final article is called "Sunday drinking makes resort one of two 'destinations,'" which is about bars opening up to allow drinking on Sundays in Whistler.
