Video material taken by Robert Clark Kline of mountaineering trips, including Mt. Burwell on September 18 and 19, 1991 (21 mins.), Helm from the Black Tusk parking lot on September 25, 1991 (21 mins.), Packer Meadows on October 23, 1991 (18 mins.), and Packer Meadows via old trail on October 30, 1991 (34 mins., 20 sec.). Booklet produced by AWARE (Association of Whistler Area Residents for the Environment) titled "Recently the Community of Whistler spoke out for the protection of the Upper Elaho - We thought we should explain ourselves..." about its campaign to save the old-growth forests of the Upper Elaho-Sims Creek area from logging. The booklet explains the importance of protecting this habitat and gives the contact information of representatives. Includes an invitation to Witness camping weekends in the Sims region hosted by the Squamish Nation.

Item is a large newspaper article from page 3 of The Lions Gate Times, entitled "Garibaldi: Blueprint for the future" and dated Thursday, January 16, 1964. The article discusses potential ski hill development within Garibaldi Park, particularly at the Alta Lake/Whistler Mountain area. There are two 'sub-articles': "Garibaldi ski lift: the public can build it," by Mary MacDonald, and "On to Garibaldi," by Editor. Article includes three images: diagram of Whistler Mountain with planned ski hills (current location of Creekside), photograph of Whistler Mountain, and map of southwestern B.C. with key locations indicated.

A booklet containing some of the history around the Garibaldi and Howe Sound areas, and the proposal and plan for a resort to be built near Garibaldi. It contains a plan to build a ski resort in the area, which ultimately ended up being Whistler.
