The donors, Andy and Florence Petersen were nominated by the community to be on the first Peak 2 Peak gondola ride from Blackcomb to Whistler along with twenty other citizens of Whistler.

Capturing the resort's original dreamers and schemers

Item is a Pique Newsmagazine article about the creation of the film "Whistler: From Wilderness to World Class" by the Mature Action Community Society, the Whistler Museum and Archives, and the Whistler Arts Council. The film features interviews with 17 longtime Whistler residents and captures the stories of those who settled in the region in the 1960s and 70s. The article includes a large photograph of Andy Petersen.

Typed notes and anecdotes from J'Anne Greenwood, the owner of 5690 Alta Lake Road, Lots 17 and 18. The same stories are laid out several different times in slightly different formats, and cover stories about train travel and how the family came to buy a lot of Alta Lake Road and a general family history.
