Parks Reports + Info

File contains letters from Cliff Fenner, one to the Chief Forester of B.C. Forest Service and two to The Director of Parks Branch regarding Garibaldi Park. The first letter is about the naming of Haney area in regard to what should be included in Garibaldi Park. The second letter discusses the helicopter tour to evaluate Garibaldi's Olympic Games potential. The last letter discusses the potential for the Olympic Games in the Cheakamus Lake area. This letter has a paper attached detailing measurements, such as snow depth, from March 19, 1960.

File also contains specific invoices regarding the sale of Garibaldi Park photographs to publisher Douglas & McIntyre Ltd., along with the business card of Marilyn Sack, of Douglas & McIntyre Ltd.

The Glades

File contains 10 negatives of people, gardens, and ponds in The Glades. Each negative has the code "FNL" and a number from 70-79. Negatives were originally found in envelope titled "The Glades".

File contains 18 transparencies of lava beds, lakes, beach, falls, and a First Nations building. File also contains 7 pages of photograph details. Each transparency has the code "LAR" and a number from 46-63. Transparencies and textual records were originally wrapped between 2 cardboard papers with string labelled "Lava Beds".

Letter from Bruce and Lydia Hill

A letter to Clifford Fenner from Bruce and Lydia Hill (from "The Glades") dated 31 August, 1973 regarding an article of Fenner's about log construction at Hudson's Hope, as well as discussing temperatures in Southern Ontario and land value in White Rock/Surrey.

Negatives and prints were originally in envelope labelled "Round Lake + Quick | Norman Read", which also has Fenner's address "Mr. C. Fenner, 1674 Peters Rd., North Vancouver BC".
