Letter, J.B. Lesslie to Bank of Montreal Superintendent of Staff

Item is a typed (photocopied?) letter from J.B. Lesslie, Associate Manager of the Bank of Montreal in Vancouver, to the Bank's Superintendent of Staff, Head Office, Montreal, stating that 3rd Assistant Manager H. M. MacDougall has requested permission to accept a nomination to Director of Garibaldi Lifts Ltd. Letter contains brief info on the background of this company, its present endeavours, and a list of its directors.

Mount Whistler Feasibility Study

Item is a 10-page report by Willy Schaeffler, Ski Area Consultant, on the feasibility of opening Mount Whistler as a ski hill. It includes a detailed plan for the development of the resort and its facilities, with sections on chairlifts and gondolas, ski trails, snow slide prevention, a ski patrol, trail maintenance, buildings, roads, wind and weather data, and accessibility. The report concludes highly favourably, remarking that Whistler Mountain is "everything the beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert skier could look for."
