Greeting on back of card: "Dear Last year we did not send you a Christmas greeting because we were in Norway for Franz's brother Lars' 70th. So therefore we thought we should send you a greeting this year with two pictures of ourselves on Whistler Mountain, and since you are not a frequent visitor there, a pic of the plaque on the top thereon! Skiing on Whistler was very, very good this past winter. Later in the spring we attended Annette's school reunion in Arlington, Virginia, then to the golf mecca of Pinehurst, N.C., visited Annette's family in Ontario, etc. We had a fabulous summer with nothing but sunshine (too bad for the B.C. forests) and spent a lot of time on our Pasley Island. All our family here — daughter Gina and husband Arthur, their 2 children and our Philip and we are all well and enjoying our lives. Franz's retirement has turned out to be wonderful, and Annette hasn't tired of him (too much) yet. Have a wonderful holiday, and a skaal from us all. Franz and Annette Wilhelmsen"
