"Alta Lake B.C. [illeg] 24 29" and 2 cent Canadian stamp is adhered. Postcard is addressed to "Miss Jean Tapley / Seattle, Washington / 7536 [illeg]2nd Ave NE" and inscribed "Dearie - Owe everyone of my sisters letters but couldn't write this mail. Didn't feel like it. [illeg] feeling queer & restless all over. Rotten weather cold & pouring. Coming up in the summer time next year. Just when does your holiday begin? Think I have rent my house but had to come down to 27.50 but building no garages or anything else so [illeg] as far ahead & if I get it rented this week the two months rent will help pay my $70.00 taxes - Bye dear hope your feeling better - Rhi."

Jean Tapley tobogganing down the dining room roof of Rainbow Lodge. Jean is approx. 27 years old. Her companion has been identified as [Reggie Shorie]; however the photograph is very similar in dress and location to 0693, where he is identified as [Jimmy Lobb].
