Series consists of material from Arts Whistler relating to the career and works of local artist Isobel MacLaurin.

1978-1995

Photographs of interiors of restaurants, cafes, retail stores and hotels/condominiums, picnics and barbecues on the mountains, aerial photographs of Whistler Village, Whistler Mountain, Blackcomb Mountain, hot tubs, tennis courts, squash courts, dancing, musicians, aerobics, shopping, chefs, cooks, fireplaces, swimming pools, cross-country skiing, occupational portraits, knitwear, helicopters, the Moon, lakes, volleyball, Barbara Kentwell, Jenny Busdon, Chris Janewell, Tim Rickwell, Mark Snaidt, John Lee, Heather Linskey, Rolf and Trudel Gunther, Yancey De Veer (musician), Doug and the Slugs (musician), Brandy's (restaurant), Rim Rock Cafe, skiing, and Rudy's Steak House.

File also includes a dividing piece of paper between 01.09.32 and 01.09.33 that reads, "'Picnics' (title given by the creator) / Mainly pictures of eating and skiing in the spring. / Includes ski picnics on the mountains; eating outside at / on mountain restaurants and cafes; barbeques on / mountain; Heli skiing picnic in a park including / volleyball"

Originally labeled "Box 3 File 5" was accompanied by a typed and printed piece of paper that reads, "'VILLAGE WINTER' (original file title) / Chiefly aerial photographs of Whistler / Village and Whistler & Blackcomb / Mountains. Also includes aerials of other / mountains in the area, aerials of the / downhill course on Whistler Mountain / and some pictures of the Village from / ground level including the Fairmont / Chateau and some condos."

These accompanying pieces of paper are included in the newly organized file as to identify original context and order.

Photographs of group and closeup portraits of skiers, skiing, skiing in costume, chairlifts, ski equipment, snowmen, mini putt, paragliding, windsurfing, Snowcat groomers, film crew, swimming, sunbathing, mascots, a man in a business suit and ski gear, a man dressed as Santa Claus, children playing with snowballs and snowmen, children walking with a husky (dog), tobogganing, musicians, drinking and dining, Whistler Mountain, Blackcomb Mountain, Franz's Run, and various events. Photographs also include Stephanie Sloan, Dave Murray, Bob Dufour, Tom Simister, Andreas Kikaukau, Rick Bowie, Darryl Bowie, Terry Bunny, Pamela Brown, Glenn Ashton, Nancy Greene Raine, Al Raine, Bruce Watt, Isobel and Don MacLaurin, Lorne Borgal, Franz Wilhelmsen, Tim Gluck, Laurie Graham, the Silver Streak, and Doc Fingers (musician).
