A half-page article on page A3 of the Vancouver Sun from Saturday December 14, 1985. The article is entitled "Big freeze means waterless taps for 41 families." The article is about 41 homes along Alta Lake Road that are without running water throughout the winter due to a water line break.

An introduction letter sent by Gay Cluer and Florence Petersen to the residents of Alta Lake Road requesting information about the houses and people who lived their for their history book. This particular copy has numerous handwritten notes from Bev and Ron Kitteringham with memories about the railway line, Rainbow Lodge, views of the lake and mountains and food.

An e-mail from Gay Cluer to Florence Petersen containing some anecdotes about the first TV station in Whistler and windsurfing races on Alta Lake.

Item is a Pique Newsmagazine article about the creation of the film "Whistler: From Wilderness to World Class" by the Mature Action Community Society, the Whistler Museum and Archives, and the Whistler Arts Council. The film features interviews with 17 longtime Whistler residents and captures the stories of those who settled in the region in the 1960s and 70s. The article includes a large photograph of Andy Petersen.
