Myrtle Philip is actually not on top of Red Mountain itself (Fissile Peak) but is looking at Red Mountain from Russet Ridge. Almost certainly this was taken at the same time as another set of photographs documenting a hike from Rainbow Lodge to Red Mountain in 1928.
