Photograph of a float plane on Green Lake and the PGE railway tracks at Parkhurst. A freight car is shown on the railway track. The inscription on the back reads "Green Lake, 1928 or 1929. Boat on lake, boat house, PGE." Although the inscription reads "boat" the item on the water is almost certainly a float plane.
Photograph of a group from Parkhurst on a picnic at Twin Lakes (today known as One Duck Lake, above Emerald Estates). Clockwise, starting with the man standing at 12 o' Clock in the white shirt: Ivan Armstrong; Lena Gordon (dark hair); Alison Barr (holding child); Norman Barr (child); George Gordon (dark hair); [Les] Thompson (blonde hair); Denis DeBeck; Keary DeBeck; Alan Payne (in hat).
Inscription on the verso reads: "Picnic at Twin Lakes - Parkhurst, July '35; Keary, Denis, Alan Payne, Ivan Armstrong, [Les] Thompson, George Gordon, Norman Barr, Mrs Barr, Mrs Gordon."
Photograph of people swimming in the lake in front of Harrop's Point. The inscription on the verso reads "Harrop's Point and Cottage approx 1929." The woman on the dock wearing a swimming cap is Alison Barr, the child is Norman Barr, and the man holding Norman is George Gordon. The man standing in the doorway may be Bert Harrop. Norman wasn't born until 1932, so the photograph can't have been taken in 1929 as the inscription suggests.
Photograph of William Barr and his wife to be, Dorothy Davies, standing by the cairn on Red Mountain (now known as Fissile Mountain). The inscription on the reverse reads "Cairn Red mtn, Dorothy and Will, 1931?"
