History
George Huxtable was a long-time Whistler resident. His son, Gord Huxtable still lives in the Whistler area. In the early 2000s, Whistler Blackcomb dreamed up a promotion to challenge and reward the mountain's most avid skier, dubbed Live the Dream, to reward the season passholder who skied the most days during the meat of the season: January, February and March. George Huxtable skied the most days not only each of those months at age 85, but won the competition as a whole.
