Face includes four photographs : view of Alta Lake with mountains in background, captioned "RAINBOW LODGE, ALTA LAKE, B.C." ; Bridge to Rainbow Lodge, captioned "RAINBOW LODGE, ALTA LAKE, B.C." ' Interior of Rainbow Lodge, captioned "CHEERFUL FIRESIDE" ; Swimmers in Alta Lake, captioned "BATHING". Also depicted are a sketch of a mountain flanked by trees with "RAINBOW LODGE Alta Lake B.C." in centre and silhouette of angler below. At top centre is an illustration of a horse and rider under a tree with a mountain behind, signed "D.K." On verso, postcard is addressed to "Miss Jean Tapley / 5508-17th Ave NE / Seattle / Wash." Message reads : "Dearest - / How do you like the new style post cards? Dr + Mrs Naismith are here - Look fine - send love to you - Wish you were here now, but Sept will be a lovely holiday time. Dad is fine. Was very pleased with your letter. / Best love Myrtle." Verso bears "POST CARD" stamp, postmark (Alta Lake B.C. July 13 27) and 2 cent stamp at upper right.
