Dennis "Denny" Greenwood was the son of Alec and Audrey Greenwood, who bought Rainbow Lodge from Alex and Myrtle Philip in 1948 for $100,000 and continued to run the guest lodge until they retired to Arizona in 1970. He was born in Vancouver before his family moved to the Whistler area.
