Biographical history

Chris Speedie arrived in Whistler from Banff in 1968. He worked as a freelance photographer and lived at the Soo Valley logging camp Toad Hall in the early 1970s. He took the famous “Toad Hall’ photo in 1973 and is also in the photo. He died in 2002 from heart failure.
