Arthur de Jong is Senior Manager of Planning and Environment at Whistler Blackcomb. He holds business degrees from SFU and BCIT. He became a ski patroller in 1980 and went on to become the Director of Ski Patrol and then the Manager of Mountain Operations. He became the Senior Manager of Planning and Environment in 1993, one of the first roles of its kind in the ski industry, and has worked with the UN and other organizations on climate change and sustainable tourism.
